Easter Refelections
Yesterday we had a great easter celebration at Crosspointe. At the end of the service our worship team did one of my favorite songs, The Wonderful Cross, with a video montage from different movies about Jesus. It was very powerful and had me in awe. I thought I might post the words to that song because they are so amazing to me.
When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the prince of glory died
My richest gain I count but loss
And pour contempt on all my pride
See, from His head, His hands, His feet,
Sorrow and love flow mingled down;
Did e'er such love and sorrow meet,
Or thorns compose so rich a crown.
Oh the wonderful cross, oh the wonderful cross
Bids me come and die and find that I may truly live
Oh the wonderful cross, oh the wonderful cross
All who gather here by grace draw near and bless your name
Were the whole realm of nature mine,
That were a present far too small,
Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my souls, my life, my all.

Hey G,
It was good talking to you last night, I'm sorry I couldn't talk longer.
Gimme a call back sometime, or drop me an e-mail (I can't find yours) I'd love to finish the conversation and hear what's going on.
