Do you know What I have Done to You

With this week is easter and today Passover I was thinking about the washing of feet. In John 13:12 Jesus asks his disciples "Do You know what I have done to you?" Knowing it was a talmidim's (disciple) desire to be just like his rabbi it really brings an interesting question. Jesus our Rabbi is teaching us something huge here. We must serve one another. Not just flippant lip service kind of serve but the kind that's willing to go into the crevices of a person's life and see them cleaned. This passage really comes in a new light to me now. I pray that I can be like my rabbi and serve my brothers and sisters in Christ that way. I pray I can serve my world this way too.
