Sent Ones
Yesterday our Pastor of Worship and Arts Adam Feldman shared a great message about the call on believers to be sent ones. In fact he reminded us that our identity as believers is that we are "sent ones." Sent ones means that we are to get involved in the movement that God is doing around the globe redeeming all things to himself. Adam shared that around the globe means both near and far. He challenged us to think of those who are in our influence now that we are trying to reach for the gospel. I wrote down a couple of guys that I know I need to be embracing with Christ's love. I pray that I will continue to share Christ with these guys and trust in God for their salvation. "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation of everyone who believes..." God may I be a vessel for your POWER to be revealed in the lives of those I come in contact with.

Freaky...the pastor at the church I went to yesterday shared a very similar message. Must have been the theme for the day. It's pretty challenging message...one that I don't take seriously enough.

Yes Mo I agree... I also think that maybe the church is realizing how little we have been willing to really "go" as God has called us to. I pray we will be that movement we are called to be.
